Biography
Dr. Teja Kundurthi is a Specialist Anesthesiologist with over five years of clinical experience following his MD. He has worked in specialty hospitals and high-volume surgical centers in both India and the United Arab Emirates. He currently practices at NMC Royal Hospital in Abu Dhabi and holds a valid license from the Department of Health (DoH). His clinical expertise includes labor epidural analgesia, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, and the management of high-risk surgical cases across obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and general surgery. He is also experienced in administering general anesthesia for high-risk patients, managing difficult airways, and providing anesthesia for endoscopic procedures. Dr. Teja actively participates in JCI and DoH quality audits and contributes to quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary team-based care to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and perioperative care.
