Biography
Dr. Muhaj Mahdi Salih Alshaikhli is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with more than 25 years of clinical experience in women’s health, including the management of both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, gynecological conditions, and reproductive health concerns. She holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), UK, in addition to MRCOG (UK), Arab Board certification (CABOG), and the Iraqi Board (FICMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Muhaj has extensive experience in managing complex obstetric cases, performing vaginal and operative deliveries including cesarean sections, and treating a wide range of gynecological conditions. Her clinical expertise includes antenatal care, management of high-risk pregnancies, infertility, menstrual disorders, menopause-related conditions, and early pregnancy complications such as ectopic pregnancy and recurrent miscarriage. She is experienced in performing obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations and minimally invasive procedures including hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and other minor gynecological procedures. She has also completed specialized training in aesthetic gynecology and laparoscopic surgery, reflecting her commitment to staying updated with advancements in women’s healthcare. Throughout her career, Dr. Muhaj has worked in several reputable healthcare institutions in the UAE and Iraq, including Burjeel Hospital, Mediclinic, SEHA, HealthPlus Fertility, and RAK Hospital. She actively contributes to women’s health education through lectures, publications, and community awareness initiatives, emphasizing preventive care and patient-centered treatment approaches.
