Dr. Merin Eapen underwent her undergraduate medical training form Calicut University India, Further to that her residency in Pediatrics in India with MD Certification and higher speciality training, Doctor of Medicine(DM) in Pediatric Neurology from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, India (3 years). She has more than 8 years of experience in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology in India. Her clinical expertise includes interpretation of Electroencephalography (EEG), Nerve conduction studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG) and administration of Botulinum toxin (Botox). She evaluates and treats children with epilepsy including self-limited epilepsy, genetic epilepsies and refractory epilepsies.  She does developmental assessment for infants and children for early detection of developmental delay and continue with their evaluation and management. Dr. Merin works alongside the team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists for the management of children with autism. She can provide services like behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to children with ADHD along with the Clinical Psychologist who works concurrently with her team. Dr. Merin integrates with her team in managing the rehabilitation services to children with cerebral palsy and neuro degenerative diseases. She provides cognitive assessment service for intellectually disabled children and children with poor scholastic performance along with Clinical Psychologist. She is passionate about teaching and was a faculty in the department of Pediatric Neurology teaching medical residents in Government Medical Colleges in India. She was a faculty in workshops in state and national conferences of Pediatric Neurology. She has presented papers in national and international conferences and received AOCN award in 2021 and NESSAN award in 2022.

Dr. Shrikant B. Wadekar holds an M.B.B.S. and an M.D. in Anaesthesia from institutions in India, supplemented by a PDCC in Cardiac Anaesthesia from Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. His expertise includes anaesthesia and cardiac anaesthesia. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Wadekar has served as a Specialist Anaesthetist in Abu Dhabi and currently practices in India. He has also held roles as a Cardiac Anaesthetist and Visiting Consultant Anaesthetist, contributing significantly to the field. With a wealth of experience as a Consultant Anesthetist in various hospitals in India, she brings a high level of expertise to our institution. As an anesthesiology expert, Dr. Susheetha Swaminathan has accumulated over 12 years of experience in the field. She holds numerous presentations and publications in her name and is a lifetime member of various medical societies, including the Academy of Regional Anesthesia, the Indian Society of Anesthesiology (ISA), and the Medical Council of India (MCI). As a highly skilled Consultant Anesthesiologist known for her expertise in regional anesthesia techniques and commitment to patient safety, Dr. Susheetha excels in regional anesthesia, acute pain management, trauma anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, onco-anesthesia, and more.

Dr. Roaa Abbas is a General Practitioner with five years of diverse medical experience. Dr. Claudia Marcela Aristizabal General Practitioner in ENT with advanced training in the field with over 12 years of experience. Dr. Claudia Marcela Aristizabal obtained her MBBS degree from Military University, Bogotá, Colombia. She brings a robust foundation of medical knowledge and a dedication to staying updated with the latest advancements in healthcare. With extensive experience in general and surgical practice, particularly in ear, nose, throat, head, and neck surgery, she offers a high level of expertise to our institution. Dr. Claudia Marcela Aristizabal commenced her career as a General Practitioner in the ER at the Colombian Air Force in 2011. Subsequently, she served as a General Practitioner at the Colombian National Police. Additionally, she acted as a Medical Auditor and General Practitioner in the ICU at a Private Institution in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Before joining Burjeel Medical City, Dr. Aristizabal worked for the last 5 years at a renowned institute as a Surgical House Officer in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Claudia Marcela Aristizabal has firsthand experience in the military field, working across various departments such as insurance, outpatient, and emergency care. Her expertise includes preoperative and postoperative care, medical documentation, and clinical audit, as well as proficiency in urodynamics and conducting diagnostic cystoscopies.

Dr. Saman Qadeer is a General Practitioner ENT and Head and Neck Surgery with advanced training in the field. Dr. Saman Qadeer earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2015 from Pakistan. Since then, she has worked as a Medical Practitioner in Surgery.

With over 4 years of experience and a wide range of acquired capabilities, Dr. Basil Elhag specializes in both general surgery and emergency departments. Dr. Mohamed Muath Adi brings with him a wealth of experience as a French-trained Orthopedic surgeon. His journey in orthopedic surgery began in 2010 upon completion of his MBBS. Dr. Adi completed his Orthopedic Residency Program at Strasbourg University Hospitals, France, followed by a Fellowship Program in Orthopedic Trauma and Lower Limb Arthroplasty at Louis Pasteur Hospital, Strasbourg University, France. Since his return to the Emirates in 2018, Dr. Muath has been recognized as an expert in lower limb arthroplasty and sports medicine injuries. He has contributed significantly to the healthcare community, serving as a consultant Orthopedic surgeon at prominent hospitals in the Emirates. Dr. Muath is deeply involved in education and research, serving as the President of the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction Dubai. In his new role, Dr. Muath will lead the Division of Orthopedic Surgery at BMC, focusing on skill development, recruitment of talented professionals, and furthering excellence in clinical care, research, and education.
