Dr. Mohammed Osman Abdalrazig Osman is a compassionate and clinically competent General Practitioner with an extensive 11-year background in hospital and clinical settings across Sudan and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Ahmad Baha Mousa, an esteemed Orthopedic Surgeon, brings a wealth of expertise in orthopedics, particularly in sports injuries, and complex trauma. In 2004, he graduated from Damascus. After completing his surgical training in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery in Germany and obtaining the “Facharzt” title in 2013, he began his notable career as a Consultant in Orthopedics and Trauma in 2014 accumulating valuable experience in the field. Dr. Ahmad’s dedication to excellence is evident in his continuous pursuit of improvement, marked by participation in advanced training courses and conferences to enhance his proficiency in knee surgery. This commitment was acknowledged in 2022 when he received the prestigious ‘Knee Surgeon’ certificate from the German Knee Association. In 2022, Dr. Ahmad relocated to the UAE, commencing his practice in Abu Dhabi as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at one of the country’s largest hospitals. In early 2024, Dr. Ahmad Baha Mousa joined our esteemed team at BMC, contributing his expertise as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Sachin Rathore is a Consultant in Anesthesia with advanced training in the field with over 16 years of experience. Dr. Rathore earned his Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2002 and an Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Anesthesiology in 2007. With extensive experience as a Specialist Anesthesia at various hospitals in India and Saudi Arabia, he brings a high level of expertise to our institution. He has completed advanced courses in Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) Program, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Program, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Program. Dr. Rathore has worked in prestigious institutions in the UAE, KSA, and India, including oncology centers, medical colleges, and corporate hospitals, and government hospitals in the UAE. He specializes in trauma care, burn, plastic surgery, obstetrics, and performs oral-maxillofacial surgeries, bariatric surgeries, and airway reconstruction procedures. He is known for his thorough patient evaluations, ability to develop personalized anesthesia care plans, and skills in monitoring patients’ responses and adjusting anesthetics accordingly. He actively participates in professional seminars and workshops, including anesthesia conferences.

Dr. Ahmad Jazzar has over 23 years of experience in Gastroenterology (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, and liver diseases) and interventional endoscopy, which includes upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), small bowel enterostomy, video capsule endoscopy, esophageal manometry. In 1987, he graduated from Aleppo University’s Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Jazzar completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States of America. He has held a variety of positions, including Consultant Gastroenterologist at Digestive Disease Specialists of Oklahoma, Integris Liver Transplantation Hepatologist at Oklahoma Transplantation Institute in the United States of America, Assistant Professor at Aleppo University’s Faculty of Medicine, Consultant Physician and Chief of the Gastroenterology Division at Gulf Diagnostic Center Hospital, and most recently Chief of the Gastroenterology Division at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Jazzar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG), a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), a Member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and a Member of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) (UNOS). Dr. Jazzar has delivered over 100 presentations and authored over 30 publications on a variety of topics, including colorectal polyps, viral hepatitis B and C therapy, inflammatory bowel diseases (as a member of the committee that wrote and published the first UAE consensus statement on IBD therapy in the UAE), NASH burden and treatment in the Gulf countries, and diagnosis and treatment of iron deficiency.

Dr. Al-Halwaji Al-Tantawi holds advanced qualifications and more than 19 years of experience in the field of pediatric intensive care and neonatology. Before joining Burjeel Medical City, he worked as a specialist in the famous emergency departments, neonatal intensive care unit, and pediatric intensive care units in various countries. Dr. Al-Halwaji Al-Tantawi began his professional career in 2004 in Egypt, where he worked at Mansoura Hospital for 5 years in the pediatric emergency room and the pediatric intensive care unit at the Kuwait Hospital at the Ministry of Health for 6 years, at Mafraq Hospital for a year, and then in the neonatal intensive care unit in Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children in Abu Dhabi for 6 years.

Dr. Basil Elhag is a General Practitioner in IP Wards with advanced training in the field. He earned his MBBS from Khartoum, Sudan, in 2017. Bringing a wealth of experience from various renowned institutes across Sudan, he possesses a high level of expertise that enriches our institution. Dr. Basil Elhag has held the role of a general practitioner for years in Sudan and previously served as a general practitioner at a renowned hospital in Khartoum, Sudan, before joining Burjeel Medical City. With over 4 years of experience and a wide range of acquired capabilities, Dr. Basil Elhag specializes in both general surgery and emergency departments. He holds a particular interest in surgery and excels in approaching, managing, and treating surgical patients. Apart from these, he holds a membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) Part A, DOH/HAAD License, and the Sudan Medical Counsel License.

Dr. Mazin Tarig Judy is a General Practitioner in IP Wards with over 5 years of advanced training in the field. He earned his MBBS from Khartoum, Sudan, in 2017, accumulating extensive experience across various renowned institutes in Sudan. Starting as a house officer, he progressed to hold pivotal roles as a general practitioner and intensive care resident. Before joining Burjeel Medical City, he served as a general practitioner at a prestigious hospital in Sudan. Dr. Mazin Tarig Judy excels in several key areas including physical examination, emergency interventions, pain management, endotracheal intubation, fluid intake and output monitoring, and various procedures such as central line insertion, urinary catheter insertion, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and surgical suturing. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Mazin Tarig Judy possesses experience in research and auditing. He holds multiple certifications including advanced life support, basic life support, and a United States medical license.

Dr. Ahmed Yousif is a Consultant Rheumatologist with over 16 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MUDr) degree in 2004 and holds an Intercalated MSc in Medicine. Dr. Ahmed Yousif boasts several postgraduate qualifications, including a Dual CCT in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine, MRCP (Rheumatology), and a PgDip in Healthcare Management and Leadership. Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmed Yousif has held key roles in NHS hospitals in Dubai and London. His expertise spans metabolic bone disease, osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis, lupus, and more. He is well-versed in DMARDs and biologic therapy, MSK USS, and the management of various joint, neck, and back pain.  

Dr. Gagan Thakur is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist with advanced training in the field With over 14 years of experience. Dr. Gagan Thakur earned his BDS from Banglore, India in 2004. He completed his MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology from Pune, Maharashtra in 2008. He has wide experience working with renowned institutes in India, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical City, he was serving a key role as Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist at a renowned institute in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Gagan Thakur’s area of expertise includes a myriad of surgical procedures ranging from implants to wisdom tooth extractions, complicated extractions, trauma management and infections of the facial spaces, minor and major surgical procedures. Besides these, Dr. Gagan is a member of the Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMFSI) and the Indian Dental Association (IDA). Dr Zainab Iqbal is a General Practitioner in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She graduated from, Pakistan in 2013 &  later went on to obtain her FCPS (Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons) in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2020. Dr. Zainab has worked as a Post Graduate Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology in Pakistan. For Four years, she immersed herself in providing holistic care to patients, honing her surgical skills in obstetrics & gynecology procedures, and performing major surgeries with precision and compassion. Dr. Zainab Iqbal’s professional expedition found its stride in the UAE while working in Abu Dhabi in the past. As a seasoned Medical Practitioner, she brings over 9 years of invaluable experience to her patients, managing a diverse array of medical cases with a holistic approach. Her excellence in inpatient management, labor ward management and her adeptness in obstetrics & gynecology surgeries shone brightly.
