Biography

Dr. Sarah Tayseer Mudathir Suliman is a Transplant Nephrologist and Consultant Nephrologist at Burjeel Medical City. She is fellowship-trained in Transplant Nephrology, American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and has more than a decade of clinical experience across the United States and Sudan. She earned her MBBS from Sudan 2006, followed by Internal Medicine residency 2013, Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship 2019 and a Kidney-Pancreas Transplant Nephrology Fellowship 2020 in the US. She has substantial experience in chronic kidney disease, hypertension management, acute and chronic dialysis care, and solid organ transplantation, including kidney transplantation, kidney-pancreas transplantation, simultaneous liver-kidney transplantation, ABO-incompatible transplantation, high-risk re-transplantation, paired kidney donation and chronic immunosuppression management. Dr. Suliman has received multiple U.S. Department of State honors for clinical service, including the Superior Honor Award, Eagle Award, and Extra Mile Award. She has published research in medical journals and has presented her work at national medical conferences. Dr. Suliman is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care for individuals with kidney disease and transplant-related needs, combining clinical expertise with a compassionate and individualized approach.
