Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Advanced Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Complex Wounds & Critical Conditions.

State-of-the-art mono-place chambers delivering 100% oxygen under pressure to accelerate healing and fight infection.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing 100% oxygen at pressures 2–3 times higher than atmospheric levels, which significantly increases the oxygen content in plasma. This therapy promotes angiogenesis, suppresses anaerobic bacteria, reduces edema, and enhances leukocyte function, all of which improve tissue viability in ischemic and infected wounds. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates with vascular surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, orthopedics, endocrinology, radiation oncology, and critical care specialists to provide holistic care. We are the only Hyperbaric Center in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Is HBOT painful?

The treatment is painless, though you may experience ear pressure similar to that felt during an airplane descent. Equalization techniques will be taught.

How long is each session?

Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes, including compression and decompression time.

Are there side effects?

Temporary ear fullness, mild fatigue, or myopia reversal can occur, but serious complications are rare (< 2%).

Does insurance cover HBOT?
