Dr. Parthiban Srinivasan is a Consultant Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary and pancreatic (HPB) surgery. He completed his MBBS from Madras Medical College, University of Madras, India, and obtained FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He later achieved FRCS (General Surgery) with subspecialty training in transplantation and completed higher surgical training in the United Kingdom. He has been associated with King’s College Hospital, London, since 1997 and was appointed Consultant Surgeon in Liver Transplantation and HPB Surgery in 2006. Since 2019, he has served as Clinical Lead in HPB Surgery, Living Donor Liver Transplantation, Islet Cell Transplantation, and Organ Utilization, and is the UK National Proctor for adult-to-adult living donor liver transplantation. Dr. Srinivasan has performed over 1,200 liver transplants and more than 2,000 complex liver and pancreatic resections, along with major laparoscopic procedures. He established the liver transplant program at King’s College Hospital Dubai and performed the first series of liver transplants there. His clinical interests include liver transplantation, living donor liver transplantation, surgery for malignant diseases of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas, and advanced laparoscopic techniques in HP.
