Dr. Muhaj Mahdi Salih Alshaikhli is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with more than 25 years of clinical experience in women’s health, including the management of both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, gynecological conditions, and reproductive health concerns. She holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), UK, in addition to MRCOG (UK), Arab Board certification (CABOG), and the Iraqi Board (FICMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Muhaj has extensive experience in managing complex obstetric cases, performing vaginal and operative deliveries including cesarean sections, and treating a wide range of gynecological conditions. Dr. Olayinka Kowobari is a UK-trained Consultant Neonatologist listed on the GMC Specialist Register (Pediatrics and Neonatal Medicine), with extensive experience in neonatal intensive care and pediatric medicine. She has worked in leading NHS Level III neonatal units in the United Kingdom and most recently served as Consultant Neonatologist at Tawam Hospital, Abu Dhabi. Her clinical expertise includes advanced neonatal resuscitation, care of premature and critically ill newborns, neonatal haemodynamic assessment, and neonatal cardiac care. She has a strong academic and research background, with ongoing research in neonatal brain development, placental oxygenation, and innovative monitoring technologies. Dr. Kowobari is actively involved in medical education, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary clinical training, contributing to the advancement of neonatal care standards and improved patient outcomes.  

Dr. Somani has more than 11 years of experience in clinical anaesthesiology, including extensive international experience spanning eight years in leading hospitals in Hong Kong, in addition to her current experience in the United Arab Emirates. She has advanced expertise in delivering various types of anaesthesia services across a wide range of surgical specialties, with a strong focus on patient safety, integrity and perioperative pain management. She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Anaesthesiology and has completed a specialized Clinical Fellowship in Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anaesthesia at Prince of Wales Hospital, affiliated with The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). During her career span, she has worked at multiple multidisciplinary and quaternary care centres, has strengthened her expertise in managing complex and high-risk surgical cases, including orthopaedics (trauma and arthroplasty), obstetrics & gynaecology, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, oncosurgery, colorectal, urology, breast, robotic and spine surgeries. Dr. Somani has extensive experience across the armamentarium of anaesthesia techniques including general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, central neuraxial anaesthesia, and conscious sedation. She also has experience managing anaesthesia cases outside the operating room, including endoscopy procedures, MRI imaging, and interventional procedures. Dr. Aruna Jyothi Chakali is a caring and experienced specialist in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Feto-Maternal Medicine. With a strong background in managing high-risk pregnancies and women’s health, she is passionate about supporting mothers-to-be and their families with expert care and guidance. Dr. Amin Mirghani El Tahir is a highly experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon with over 20 years of expertise in vascular, endovascular, and general surgery. He holds an MBBS from the University of Khartoum, FRCS (Glasgow), a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Surgical Training (CCST, UK), and an MD from the University of Aberdeen. He has worked in leading institutions in the United Kingdom and the UAE, including Royal Derby Hospital and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, and currently serves as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Amin has played a key role in developing and leading vascular surgery services, including the establishment of advanced endovascular and limb salvage programs. He is widely experienced in managing complex vascular conditions using both open and minimally invasive techniques. A core aspect of his practice is his leadership within multidisciplinary teams (MDT), where he contributes to complex clinical decision-making and collaborative surgical planning. Dr. Nora Jasmin El Shammah is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon with over 20 years of international clinical and surgical experience. She is Austrian board-certified and licensed in the United Kingdom and the UAE, and completed advanced oculoplastic and reconstructive training at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Queen Victoria Hospital in the UK, both leading international centres for oculoplastic surgery.  She provides specialist care for functional and aesthetic conditions of the eyelids and periocular region, including lacrimal and orbital disorders and paediatric oculoplastic conditions. Her work focuses on precise assessment, preservation of function, and achieving natural, balanced results. Dr. Nora integrates advanced surgical, non-surgical, and regenerative treatments to optimise skin quality and support long-term periocular rejuvenation. 

Dr. Hasan Aahed Husni is a Consultant Endocrinologist with extensive clinical and academic expertise developed at premier medical institutions in the United States. Notably, he served as a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Cleveland Clinic in the U.S. His clinical interests include the management of metabolic bone diseases, osteoporosis, calcium and parathyroid disorders, and vitamin D deficiency, as well as diabetes, hypoglycemia disorders, and insulin pump management. He holds advanced medical qualifications, including American Board certifications in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, Internal Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. He completed his specialized fellowship training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Hasan is deeply committed to medical education, having served in active roles supervising and mentoring residents and fellows, delivering educational lectures, and contributing to academic initiatives. In addition to his clinical work, he possesses a research background with multiple publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and contributions to scientific reviews and clinical guidance. This academic foundation reflects his dedicated commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Dr. Ahmed brings over two decades of international medical experience, with more than eight years as a UK-trained Consultant Urologist, having held senior roles across the UK and the Middle East. He is widely recognised for his expertise in urological cancers, particularly bladder and prostate cancer, with a strong focus on minimally invasive and organ-preserving treatments. He is also an expert in benign prostate treatment including using steam therapy and the new technique of Aquablation. He is the current trainer for this new technique in the middle east. A pioneer in advanced laser technologies for bladder cancer, Dr. Ahmed has led nationally recognised services in the UK, including heated chemotherapy (hyperthermia) for high-risk bladder cancer and innovative day-surgery pathways aligned with best-practice guidelines. His work has contributed to improved patient outcomes while reducing the burden of invasive surgery. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ahmed is a respected leader in education, research and innovation. He has played a key role in developing simulation-based training programmes, contributed to international urology education platforms, and remains actively involved in academic publishing and global guideline development. He is also the Founder and Chair of the Arab British Urological Society, strengthening collaboration between healthcare communities in the UK and the region.
